About this skill
This skill lets your assistant work directly with Apple Notes on your Mac, so you can create notes, search across everything you've written, update or organize folders, and export it all to a file just by asking. It runs entirely through macOS automation with no network access, so none of your notes ever leave your device. It can delete notes and folders when you ask, and reading checklist state needs you to grant Full Disk Access, but everything stays local and password-protected notes remain off-limits.
What it does
- Create, read, search, and update your Apple Notes and folders
- Delete individual notes, batch-delete notes, and remove empty folders (with confirmation)
- Export all notes to JSON and read notes as Markdown or plaintext
- Save and fetch note attachments to your home, temp, or /Volumes folders
- Read checklist state from the local Notes database when you grant Full Disk Access
- Send any of your notes or data off your Mac (no network access at all)
- Open or modify password-protected notes
- Access files outside Apple Notes and permitted attachment folders
- Store or read your passwords or account credentials
