15 Meet the makers

A note from the three of us.

Paris, August 2026

We are three people in Paris: Alex, Jules, and Majdi. We design the machine, the system, and the brand ourselves. That is why the bottom plate says “Proudly designed by humans in Paris.”

A fair question for any Kickstarter: is this campaign keeping the company alive? No. We have investors behind us who believe the same thing we do: you should own your AI. The machines are already paid for. Production started before you saw this page.

The campaign is how we find the first thousand owners. Founders get the first builds, vote on what we build next, and tell us what’s wrong while we can still fix it.

That is what this campaign is for. A founding community, not a lifeline.

At Founders prices, we make almost nothing on each machine. On purpose. The first run is about getting this right, not making money. The membership is optional, forever. Nothing you bought will ever be locked behind it.

After the campaign, prices go up to retail. That is where the margin is.

Production has started. Working prototypes exist. Kickstarter launches November 10, 2026. Shipping starts Christmas 2026.

And the question everyone asks: what happens if we disappear?

Using AgentPod

What do I need to use AgentPod?

Power, a connection to your router, and the AgentPod app for setup. Connect your existing AI subscription or an API key. AgentPod and Max can also run local AI models.

Does it work without internet?

On AgentPod and Max, local skills keep running with the network cable pulled; we filmed it. Control continues over your home network from the app. Bluetooth is used once, for first pairing. Cloud models you’ve connected need the internet.

What costs extra?

The apps and system updates are free forever. No AgentPod subscription is required. You can connect your existing AI subscription or API key. Speaker and Display Pods are optional purchases.

The optional membership adds encrypted backup and AI credits for 100+ models. Prices publish when the products ship. Every buyer gets one month free on any plan, and it is month-to-month only, ever. Cancelling never takes away anything on your device.

What needs my approval?

Money, messages, and deletions wait for your tap. Approve from the app, wherever you are. Your agent does the work.

Are the Speaker and Display Pods included?

No. Both are sold separately. AgentPod works without them, through the app and your connected messaging services.

Launch and reservations

When does it launch and ship?

Kickstarter launches November 10, 2026. Shipping starts Christmas 2026. Production has started and working prototypes exist.

Can I give AgentPod as a Christmas gift?

Yes. Most devices will arrive after Christmas Day, so we’ll provide a beautifully designed gift letter you can print, place in an envelope, and give on Christmas. Their AgentPod will follow.

How does the Founders reservation work?

Start by leaving your email. Then choose your device and reserve it for $50. Lock in the Founders price while your model’s allocation is available. Your deposit is credited toward your device when you buy on Kickstarter.

Can I cancel?

Yes. The $50 reservation has a cancel button, not a support ticket. It is fully refundable anytime, including after it has been credited toward your purchase. On Kickstarter, you can cancel your pledge until the campaign closes; your card is charged at close. After that, you can cancel before your machine ships for a full refund.

When does my name lock into the machine?

Name inclusion is optional for the first 100 paid reservations. Your name is laser marked on the plastic underside of every first-generation AgentPod if your eligible reservation is active when the name artwork locks. Cancel before lock and your name comes out. After lock, the artwork goes into production. We’ll publish the lock date here in advance.

12.How does the Founders price work?

Founders Edition is limited to 100 of each model, 300 devices in total. After those, the Kickstarter price applies. After the campaign, the retail price applies. Your $50 reservation is fully refundable, anytime, and is credited toward your device when you buy. Name inclusion is separate, for the first 100 paid reservations overall, with names laser marked on the underside of every first-generation AgentPod.

The company

What happens if AgentPod closes?

The machine keeps working. It needs no AgentPod account or server: AgentPod and Max run models on the box, and Air talks to your own provider under your own key. If AgentPod closes, we release the full code, firmware signing keys, and bootloader to the owners. That promise is in writing. The worst case is a machine that keeps working.
