Is AgentPod free?

Yes. Browsing the catalogue and using every skill listed today is completely free, and there is nothing to buy to get started. Our current goal is simply to grow a community ahead of a future hardware crowdfunding. Premium skills and memberships may come later, but the current catalogue stays free to use.

Do I need an account to use skills?

No. You can browse the catalogue and copy any skill without signing up, logging in, or installing anything. An email is only needed if you want to subscribe for new-skill alerts and launch news. The skills you save are kept locally in your own browser, not on our servers.

What exactly is a "skill"?

A skill is a ready-to-paste instruction set, essentially a carefully written prompt, that teaches ChatGPT or Claude to do a specific job well. Examples include triaging your inbox, turning meeting notes into action items, or producing a morning briefing. Each one is reviewed and written to be clear, safe, and effective, so you get a reliable result instead of guessing at wording yourself.

What is a bundle?

A bundle is a small, themed group of related skills that work well together, like "Inbox Zero" or "Second Brain". Bundles save you from picking skills one at a time when you want a complete workflow. They are free to use just like individual skills.

How do I use a skill? What is the paste flow?

Open the skill, copy its instructions, then paste them into a new chat with ChatGPT or Claude. Follow any short setup notes on the skill (for example, adding your own text or context where indicated), then send the message. That is it: no installs, no extensions, no connected accounts unless a specific skill clearly says it needs one.

Does it work with both ChatGPT and Claude?

Yes. Skills are written as plain instructions, so they work in ChatGPT and Claude, and generally in other capable chat assistants too. Where a skill works best with a particular model or setup, the skill page says so. You always stay inside the assistant you already use; AgentPod does not sit between you and it.

What does "scanned by AgentPod" mean?

It means a person reads the whole skill before we list it, and runs an 8-point safety and privacy check. We tell you two things separately: what data the skill can see, and whether it is safe to run. By default a skill only reads what you give it or runs on your device, and asks for more only when it truly needs to. This is a careful, best-effort review and a quality bar, not an absolute guarantee, so always use your own judgement with anything connected to your accounts.

Is my data and email safe? What do you do with it?

The only personal data we collect is your email address, and only if you choose to subscribe. It is stored in a database hosted in the EU (London region) and used to send you new-skill alerts and launch news, nothing else. We do not run advertising or third-party analytics trackers, and we do not sell your data. The site uses only strictly-necessary cookies and a small "your skills" list kept in your browser.

What is the dormant account you create when I subscribe?

When you subscribe, we quietly create a passwordless, dormant account tied to your email. It does nothing on its own; it simply means that if you choose to activate a full account later, your details carry over with no migration or re-signup. We disclose this plainly because we would rather you know exactly what happens than be surprised by it. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Can I unsubscribe?

Yes, at any time. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to be removed and to have your stored email and dormant account deleted. We do not need a reason and we will not try to talk you out of it.

Will there be paid skills later?

Possibly. We are exploring paid or premium skills, memberships, and eventually a private home AI appliance, but none of that is live today. The current catalogue is free, and if paid options arrive we will be upfront about what costs money and what stays free. Subscribing now just keeps you in the loop, it does not commit you to anything.

AgentPod is built by a small team operating from France and the wider EU, focused on curation, trust, and privacy for prosumers.
